Istanbul My Love is the 2013 Summer Art Exhibiton presented by the International Forum of the Arts (IFA). With 14 participating International Artists based in Istanbul, the exhibition is an assemblage of impressions and expressions of artists from different nationalities and cultures as they interact with the city they chose to live. The artworks bring a euphoria of creativity in various styles and genre with one unifying thread and that is love for the city which has been a niche for many civilizations and empires and therefore a rich ground for those who seek creative expression.
Rowena Martinez Ulayan, the curator of the show is a prize winning minimalist painter whose works had been exhibited and collected worldwide. Her recent awards include the Anglo-Italian Academy of Art Award at the Chianciano Biennale 2011 in Italy and another Anglo-Italian Academy of Art Award at the 2013 London Art Biennale organized by the Gagliardi Gallery and Partners.
